Job Description

We are looking for a Product Designer to join our growing design team. Our product designers take a product, feature, or experience from ideation to production. This includes vision setting, designing solutions, prototyping, bringing along cross-functional teams, overseeing implementation, and collaborating with other designers, researchers, writers, product managers, analysts, and engineers. You will focus on our new investments in artist tools, specifically focused around audience and marketing tools.  We are looking for a senior level designer with a system thinking background, experienced in developing scalable interfaces on multiple platforms, and that can pair product thinking with thoughtful craft.

You Will:

  • Drive the strategy and position of your product area

  • Plan, scope, and create work that contributes to a larger, long-term plan

  • Communicate your ideas and work to your direct team and other teams

  • Work with other designers and XFN stakeholders to integrate your product area with the larger Tidal’s ecosystem.

  • Drive execution of your product area in its entirety.

  • Work on challenging, wide-reaching projects for your team

This is a remote position open for hiring in US Eastern Time or Central Time; these working hours overlap sufficiently with colleagues in CEST to ensure easy collaboration and optimal work/life balance.

Qualifications

You have:

  • 6+ years of professional design experience

  • Experience with turning complex problems into simple and engaging solutions

  • A natural understanding of the end-to-end design process - from identifying customer needs, jobs-to-be-done and pain points to delivering exceptional customer experiences

  • Ability to connect the dots across the entire customer ecosystem both on and off our products

  • You actively plan, scope, and create work that contributes to a larger, long-term plan

  • A portfolio of work on which you were the primary designer, with moderate guidance from design leadership

  • Articulate high-level team goals and connect your work to larger team or company initiative

Even better:

  • Experience in customer journey mapping and strategic design to complement design foundations

  • Familiarity in creating interactive prototypes

  • Experience with designing CRM and Email Marketing products.
